You are invited to the next Ekumen evening on the 15th of July in one of our most beloved venues in Anderlecht. The program will be rather ethereal, with floating sounds, both dreamy and unheimlich, featuring computers, guitars and sound performance. On tour from the U.S.A., Bccording and Infant will be presenting their first ever live show in Belgium, right after a DJ set at Kiosk the previous day ; guitar and bass duo m.j.suinat will present their brand new album, recently published on tape by my sleepy snail éditions ; Yyed prepares a mysterious surprise performance.

Jackson Gifford (b. 2002, Berkley, MI, USA) has been making music as Bccording since 2022. He is currently based inside Detroit in Hamtramck, Michigan.

Infant live at Empty Bottle.
Infant is a sound artist, laptop musician, and occasional DJ based in Detroit, Michigan. His practice revolves around poetry, dub studio techniques, and digital experimentation.
Since 2021, he has been releasing his music on multiple netlabels, including katharsis, mappa, Cime and Warm Winters Ltd..

m.j.suinat is the moniker of Margaux Suinat, a musican based in Marseille. On stage, she is joined by bassist P.S Angel, who is also a member of userband.
Their first release, Pushing the Screws, just came out on my sleepy snail éditions.

Yyed
Unclassifiable music enfant terrible, Yyed is a sound artist based in Bonn, defining their artistic work as “primarily field recordings, field non-recordings, gestural non-action, non-gestural action, non-verbal speech, and verbal non-speech”.
Since their widely acclaimed first EP in 2021, they released an album in 2023, and presented some performances, notably some with our friends of default and In vitro. Their work keeps on mutating, slowly simmering in the shadows.
